14 March 2005 - Olukunle Eluhania, a Leaving Certificate student at Palmerstown Community School, was deported to Nigeria.

24 March 2005 - Following pressure from his classmates, Minister for Justice Michael McDowell reversed his decision and Kunle has been given a student's visa and will be allowed to return to Ireland to finish his education.

11-15 April 2005  Make a Book Project
1O's book entitled, Normans and their Castles, is on view in the Civic Offices, Wood Quay. All welcome.

15 December 2005 - To-day at Pobalscoil Iosolde the Minister of State with special responsibility for Children, Brian Lenihan, launched a Music Initiative under the Development of Targeted Educational Responses to Certain Children at Risk.

29 May 2005 - The MAMA Awards
The MAMA Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding contributions of individuals and groups (N Burke, A Mayle, D Mooney and Mr Wilkie) creating cross-cultural understanding and co-operation in Ireland .

13 November 2005 - Innovation Day - Enterprise Ireland - Orla Henry, First Year Science student, was awarded 3rd prize for her invention - a Doorbell Voice Recorder.

21 April 2005 - 1L visit Causey Farm, Co Meath.
