Social Inclusion Award Winners
Students from Pobalscoil Iosolde took part in the South Dublin County Council Social Inclusion competition They prepared projects on various themes including homelessness, drug abuse, poverty, ethnic diversity and discrimination. The award cermony was held in South Dublin County Council on Thursday, 6th May. Mayor Duff and Jason Sherlock presented the prizes to the winners in the 2nd Level Schools Social Inclusion Competition.
The Overall Winner this year was Pobalscoil Iosolde with their project on Ethnic Diversity. As part of the prize South Dublin County Council will donate €100 to Stewards Hospital, Palmerstown, as requested by Pobalscoil Iosolde.
Leaving Certificate Applied and Transition Year projects scooped a number of prizes. Congratulations to all those who took part.
